A view from the front. I was too lazy to move it out of the carport so you could really see it. The color is “Midnight Blue,” which led me to nickname it “Lou.”
All the doohickeys that work the radio and heat. There’s a six-disc CD changer built-in, but we decided against the built-in DVD and Navigation, opting instead to buy separate units on our own and saving the thousands of dollars it would have otherwise cost us. Also, at the bottom of the picture, you can see our favorite feature: the heated seats! We’re loving them now, and it’s only down to the mid-40s. Just wait till we drive to Michigan and have to deal with their cold weather.
The car seats installed. There’s even room between the two of them for someone to sit, plus there’s room for three more in the back seat.
One thing that’s disappointing is that I will no longer have the challenge of packing all of our crap into the trunk of the Civic and/or Intrepid. I used to love the Tetris-like game of getting everything to fit. Look at all the room we have now! There’s going to be no challenge at all, and it makes me sad.
