Brooklyn Black Chocolate Stout

Wow, it’s been a long time between beer reviews (seriously, October?!?!). My apologies. It’s not for lack of drinking, just lack of writing and trying new stuff. Anyway, here we go.
Brooklyn Black Chocolate Stout poured like motor oil, very thick looking. Impressive dark brown head, and straight black opaque color in the glass. Chocolatey aroma, with a hint of raisin-ish alcohol.
Strong flavor, as to be expected. You definitely get the alcohol bite, but it doesn’t overpower the chocolatey smoothness. I get a bit of coffee bitterness and malty caramel and some more raisin on the tongue as well.
Can’t really have more than one of these at a time, or it would knock me over, but it’s still quite tasty.
