Well, maybe not so bold, but I figured I’d throw my picks out there, like I did with baseball.
AFC:
Pats, Colts, Chargers, Ravens, wild cards Broncos, Jags. Pats-Colts again, Colts go to the Super Bowl.
NFC:
Does it matter? OK, token picks: Cowboys, Bears, Cardinals, Saints, wild cards Eagles and, what the heck, Lions. Cowboys-Saints, with Saints winning.
Colts over the Saints in the Super Bowl, 35-24.
Giants go 5-11, Jets mildly better at 7-9. My fantasy team squeaks into the playoffs, but no prediction on whether I win.
And yes, as I type this, Marvin Harrison and Peyton Manning are still the best QB-WR combo in the league. Sick.
