In a thin field of only 13 entries, Aunt Wendy Ratkowski once again took home the crown in the baby pool (of course, the odds were good, with the Ratkowskis accounting for nearly half the entries). Coming in a close second was Grandpa Dauernheim. The official stats were: November 7, 2006, 3:53 am; 7 pounds, 10 ounces; 19.5 inches long.
Thanks to everyone who participated, especially Wendy, who once again donated her winnings to Evan’s college fund, giving us $65 for our little man. With some other kind post-deadline baby pool entry fees, we will also donate some cash to get Evan to an even start with Ellie for a total of $225 to start in his college fund. Anyone else who didn’t get their entry in but still wants to donate $5 (or more), you know where we live.
