Ellie

Caught on camera, our little kleptomaniac. Unfortunately for Lisa, the crime scene was her underwear drawer. Later, Ellie moved on to condiments.

A woman in northeastern Brazil has given birth to what one doctor called a "giant baby," a boy weighing 16.7 pounds (thankfully delivered via C-section). Ellie is now just over 18 pounds, at almost 17 months old.

More Ellie content to come in the next few days, I promise.

Sorry for the lack of updates. We've got some video we're trying to edit, which takes a little longer than just throwing up some pictures. Speaking of video, if anyone has a copy of Nancy Sinatra's "These Boots Are Made For Walkin'", let me know, as I could use it in Ellie's latest video.

OK, so I admit I was lazy and just put all the pictures up in the gallery area because I didn't feel like doing any editing. So sue me. So for those of you who are lazy and don't feel like clicking through the gallery, here's the best picture of the bunch:

The rest are a lot of opening presents, and some snow angels.

A quick story about our little girl before I get to Christmas. It's sort of related, so bear with me.
The Monday before we left for Michigan for Christmas, we went to my company's holiday party. Our neighbor from across the street came over to babysit, and she brought a toy that Ellie liked when she was over there last, a toy washer/dryer. Ellie loves picking things up and putting them inside the doors. Fast forward to the following Wednesday. We had just gotten home after the long drive and were starting to unpack, when suddenly we see Ellie running around with the mustard bottle. I should explain that she loves poking her head in the refrigerator whenever we open it and stealing the mustard out of there. In fact, she is a total kleptomaniac. She loves to steal stuff off of shelves, drawers, whatever, then turning around and running away with it with her hands in the air. She'll be really good at Capture the Flag when she gets older. Anyway, we hadn't opened the fridge at the time that she was running around with the mustard. The best we can figure is that she stole it before we left for Christmas and stashed it in the washer/dryer the whole time we were gone. Bye bye mustard. Yuck! The ensuing weekend has found various Christmas ornaments, cell phones, books, etc all stored in the washer/dryer. Our little klepto.

Anyway, the Christmas 2004 pictures are now available in the gallery. Enjoy!
