Boycotting all things French

Unless you have been in a cave in Afghanistan for the past year, you know all about the French threatening to veto the US-backed UN resolution to essentially authorize war against Iraq. Because of this admittedly questionable choice, Americans have turned to numerous anti-French efforts to show their displeasure. These are of dubious value at best. Read on to see why.
Low profile Senate Votes

Last week, the Senate voted on a couple of things I thought everyone would find interesting. Yet many of the big papers either missed the stories, or just ignored them for the bigger war with Iraq story. The votes pertained to Roe v. Wade and drilling in ANWR.
